Livia’s Kitchen Biccy Bombs – Salted Maca Caramel

I’m sure you’ve heard of Livia’s Kitchen but for those of you who’re new to the dairy free world let me tell you a little more. Livia’s Kitchen is all about the creation of delicious sweet treats which are free from gluten, egg and dairy.

Today I wanted to highlight the Salted Maca Caramel Biccy Bombs. By the way, these also come in chocolate and ginger. The Boots in the centre of Sheffield stocks all 3 flavours but you can also find them in WHSmiths, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Whole Foods, Ocado and all these others shops.

So, the Salted Maca Caramel Biccy Bombs come in 2 sizes. This neat little to go packet which contains 2 Biccy Bombs and a larger bag. I really like the branding of the Livia’s Kitchen range and this snack pack size is perfect to keep in your bag.

Each Biccy Bomb is made up of 3 layers. It’s covered in a smooth chocolate and then there’s a crumbly biscuit layer which is pretty thick and finally a lovely thick centre of caramel (created with delicious dates). The centre is quite sweet but it balances out well with the the surrounding biscuit. Although these are sweet they aren’t sickly and go down very well with a cup of tea or coffee.

I can’t wait to try the other flavours.
